SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR
Gretchen pastors alongside her husband at The Well Scottsboro. They have been in ministry together for thirty-six years. She and Greg have twelve children and twenty-two grandchildren now. Gretchen has been homeschooling for twenty-eight years and has been on the teaching staff with The Well Academy for six years. She attended college at Calhoun and UAH for two years after high school. She and Greg were married in 1990 and began a family shortly thereafter. Gretchen is a writer and is working on children’s books, a cookbook, and a parent book at this time. She is pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies from Omega Theological Seminary at present.
OUR FOUNDERS
Stuart Whitney founded The Way Home Christian School with his wife Martha in 1988. The school grew from just a few families to more than one thousand families over the years. In 2021, the transition began to hand over The Way Home to The Well Family Worship Center, including a name change. Stuart currently serves on staff with The Well Academy to provide support to the administrators.
